Jack Greenan, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from Western University of Health Sciences in 2016. Prior to that, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis.
Dr. Greenan is an optometrist at EyeTx, with his primary practice location in San Pedro. He specializes in specialty contact lenses, particularly scleral lenses, and enjoys sharing his passion for eye care with his patients.
Dr. Greenan’s interest in optometry was sparked by his own experience with eye issues in his early twenties. Fortunately, everything worked out well, and he now enjoys great 20/20 vision. His favorite aspect of being an optometrist is engaging with people and helping them with their eye care needs.
Away from work, Dr. Greenan describes himself as a bit of a nerd, enjoying reading and anything related to science. His curiosity about the world and the universe is limitless. He also enjoys being in the water, perhaps due to his zodiac sign, Scorpio.
George Green, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston’s College in 2016. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Dr. Green’s special field of interest is specialty and scleral contact lenses.
The support and recommendation he received from his mentor, Dr. Anderson, strongly influenced Dr. Green’s decision to pursue a career in optometry. It is a highly specialized field that offers him the opportunity to directly and positively impact his patients’ quality of life. Dr. Green especially enjoys taking time to build solid and long-term relationships with his patients and loves being able to share his optical knowledge with them. As a result, Dr. Green can help his patients maintain their most valued sense – their eyesight.
